Trump admin to begin turning back all undocumented immigrants, asylum seekers at borders: report


The Trump administration is reportedly scheduling to change back again all asylum seekers at both the northern and southern borders above fears with regards to the coronavirus outbreak.

Four administration officials advised The New York Moments on Tuesday that the policy would use to asylum seekers and any other migrant trying to find to cross the border illegally.

Ports of entry would continue being open up to American citizens, inexperienced card holders and some foreigners with right documentation as effectively as professional website traffic, according to the report.

Underneath the new coverage, which the officers explained would be introduced inside of 48 hrs, migrants crossing the border concerning the points of entry would be shuttled back to Mexico if they are crossing the southern border and would not be held for any volume of time in the U.S.

Neither the White Home nor the Division of Homeland Stability right away responded to requests for comment from The Hill.
