Collins: It would be ‘helpful’ for Trump to apologize



 

 

Collins introduced on Tuesday that she would vote to acquit Trump on the two House-handed impeachment content: abuse of energy and obstruction of Congress.

“I imagine we are earlier that level. We’ve experienced the president impeached,” she said. “That is a much higher sanction than a censure. I feel we are past that phase.”
