Many predicted it would happen, and they were dead right …
This week renowned, uber-popular podcaster Joe Rogan offered to moderate a live, four-hour debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden on his daily video podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”
In response, “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin pounced by predictably smearing Rogan as “misogynistic, racist, homophobic.”
Many had predicted this would happen.
Following Rogan’s challenge, the president promptly accepted:
I do! https://t.co/H9Eghnqpuy

Meanwhile, others began applying pressure for Biden to also accept:
Joe Rogan and Trump are down for the most epic debate ever hosted
If Joe Biden agrees it will be the highest rated show ever in my opinion
Joe Must Show!

Stop making up excuses.

But with the viral #JoeMustShow hashtag came warnings as well.
As one prescient Twitter user had warned, “[T]hey will just brand joe a racist, sexist homophobe and say they can’t normalize his platform. Politics as usual with the woke cult. Joe interviewed Yang, Bernie and Tulsi already. He’s more left than right.”
No, they will just brand joe a racist, sexist homophobe and say they can’t normalize his platform. Politics as usual with the woke cult. Joe interviewed Yang, Bernie and Tulsi already. He’s more left than right.

And that’s exactly what wound up happening.
“I think given his use of the N-word, I think given his comparing a black neighborhood to ‘The Planet of the Apes,’ given the fact that he has called a transgender woman a man. I think all of that disqualifies him to be the host of a presidential debate,” Hostin complained Tuesday on “The View.”
“I think President Trump has debased the office of the presidency. I think as a country we have lost a sense of decorum, and I don’t think a host like that should be someone who is given the honor, and I think it is an honor, to host a presidential debate.”
She added that she’s a so-called “traditionalist.”
“I think that journalists should be hosting these debates. When you talk about a Joe Rogan, who has notably made misogynistic, racist, homophobic comments, that is someone that I have no interest in being given that kind of [stage],” she said.
The stunning remarks annoyed many because, his past faux pas aside, the fact remains that Rogan is highly influential — more-so than most “journalists,” some have alleged. His supporters also say he’s anything but a racist:
See some of the backlash below (*Language warning):
You’re why traditional Media is dying while people like @joerogan draw millions of listeners.

Yep, he’s so horrible he has about a 10 times bigger platform and viewing than that hag could ever imagine she has on that shit show she’s on now..

Sunny Hostin can cherry pick what she wants to about Joe Rogan’s qualifications yet the fact is that thanks to Rogan’s podcast voters were able to see in-depth interviews of candidates running for office last year.
No one in the “prestige media” offers anything like he does.

Why isn’t this an article about how Sunny is making slanderous charges against Joe. Does truth not matter,
of course not it’s all about The Narrative. No one with any individual thought considers you legitimate news, and only pays you any attention in moments of mockery.

One Rogan podcast has more interesting content than the totality of everything that has ever been said on #TheView . Also, he isn’t misogynist, racist or homophobic. He just doesn’t play politically correct in the culture wars.

Joe Rogan is a lot of things, but I’m pretty sure racist isn’t one of them.

@sunny is 100% correct. We’ve lost a sense of decorum…like when Joe Biden sat down to speak with Cardi B. @TheView #WAP #CardiB #JoeBiden #sleepyJoe #TheView #SunnyHostin #MAGA #KAG #DonaldJTrump #4moreyears #landslide #Trump2020 #pandering
