In an attempt to be cute with partisan sniping, the Democratic mayor of Philadelphia put forth what may be the best reason why Americans should be concerned about the counting of votes in that city.
The irony of the city where America was officially born as an independent nation being ground zero for what may prove to be the fatal blow to its foundation not lost on those paying attention.
Mayor Jim Kenney was asked to respond to President Trump’s concerns about the integrity of the electoral process and said the president needs to “put his big boy pants on.”
“[Trump] needs to acknowledge the fact that he lost, and he needs to congratulate the winner, just as Jimmy Carter did, just as George H.W. Bush did, and frankly, just as Al Gore did.”

Never mind that there are court challenges to play out, Kenney’s quip about Gore was a telling remark in reference to the contested 2000 George W. Bush-Al Gore election.
With Biden overtaking Trump’s once substantial lead in Pennsylvania on Friday and the race quickly being called in the 77-year-old Democrat’s favor, the mayor let it be known that they are still counting ballots, even though he declared that Trump lost.
Yeah sorry, I saw what was going on in South Philly
Democracy doesn’t include blocking poll watchers and threatening to assault poll inspectors, both of which I saw happen with my own eyes https://t.co/rRWDjvNRbb

After Biden overtook what was once a 800,000-plus lead, President Trump took to Twitter to voice his thoughts.
“Philadelphia has got a rotten history on election integrity,” he tweeted.

The president also issued a statement Friday on the course of events.
“We believe the American people deserve to have full transparency into all vote counting and election certification, and that this is no longer about any single election,” the president said. “This is about the integrity of our entire election process. From the beginning, we have said that all legal ballots must be counted and all illegal ballots should not be counted, yet we’ve met resistance for this basic principle by Democrats at every turn. We will pursue this process through every aspect of the law to guarantee the American people have confidence in our government. I will never give up fighting for you and our nation.”
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, was in Philadelphia and called attention to GOP poll watchers not being allowed to observe the counting process, as well as windows being blocked to prevent onlookers from seeing what was happening.
“The election is in the process of being stolen!” he said.

There are protests taking place in Pennsylvania as the counting continues, with “Stop the Steal” signs featured.

The institutional left is out in force as well, and it could not be more clear that they have no concerns about integrity… as long as the potentially fraudulent behavior is working in their favor — a trait they share with the corrupt media.

Questions about the process playing out in Pennsylvania are widespread, even as the media is working overtime to dispel any concerns.
Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich weighed in, as did National Review columnist Andy McCarthy.
The fact that Philadelphia election officials can’t 1) say how many segregated ballots there are at this point b) are saying Trump has lost while also saying they are still counting votes…
Is one of many reasons there is so much rightful skepticism about the process in Philly.

Fox News’ Marc Thiessen also responded to Kenney’s “big boy pants” slight in a tweet, asking: “This is supposed to give us confidence in Philadelphia’s impartiality?”
Philly mayor Jim Kenney just said at press conference in vote count that the President needs to “put his big boy pants on” and admit he lost. This is supposed to give us confidence in Philadelphia’s impartiality?

Here are some additional responses to the story from Twitter:
“Saddam Hussein never held an election in which he got all of 23,277 ballots cast. Yet here we are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. . . a constitutional republic — and Joe Biden gets 23,277 votes out of 23,277 ballots cast?” https://t.co/Hg9roXwmxE

A preliminary statistical analysis of Philadelphia voting data is showing that the vote totals are “as if someone flipped a coin 100 times and got heads every time.”

Philadelphia is a corrupt dump.
Waste of space.
I feel sorry for the conservatives who are stuck living there. They live amongst criminals.
