In his first public remarks made since he was pardoned, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn declared with confidence that President Donald Trump will win the 2020 presidential election despite “a coup” against him “still” being in “progress.”

“I was asked today on a scale of one to ten who will be the next president, and I said ten it’ll be Donald Trump. It’ll be President Trump. There’s no doubt in my mind that he won this election hands down in a landslide, probably somewhere between 350 and 400 Electoral College votes,” he said in a phone interview recorded Saturday.

The interview was with Worldview Weekend, an online talk show hosted by a Christian activist and commentator known as Brannon Howse.

Flynn warned though that the alleged fraud, impropriety and discrepancies being discovered in the 2020 election results are all part of an ongoing coup.

“I think what we experienced over the last four years … was a very strong effort to unseat a duly elected president and try to remove Donald Trump by political pressure, by technology pressure, by financial pressure — to get him to just say, ‘You know what? I’m not going to put up with this,’ and then walk away,” he said.

But that never happened because the president chose to fight back, and so the president’s enemies kept devising other methods to remove him, “whether it was the fake Russiagate or Spygate, the fake impeachment or some of the kind of stuff that we’re seeing now with this COVID situation.”

This is still a coup in progress, but now it’s a little different. When they lost in 2016, I think that there was a decision to say we’re not going to allow this to happen again,” Flynn continued.

He added that he believes the current coup strategy revolves around “pretending like OK, there’s nothing to see here, and Joe’s going to be our next president.”

Except Flynn believes that’s not the truth — and that something sinister happened on Election Night when all of a sudden key battleground states stopped counting ballots.

“So what happened in a very strategic way is that the electronic vote did not achieve the result that they needed on the 3rd of November to be able to get get them over the top and get the votes that they needed … then they realized OK, we have to stop, we have to shut down,” he claimed.

“Over the next couple of days from the 4th of November through the 7th of November, we start to see the whole instance of mail-in ballot fraud. And I mean, there’s a whole bunch of evidence and a whole bunch of people that have come forward. There’s probably overall a couple of hundred, and I’m low-balling affidavits [from] people who have stood up and said, ‘I’m sick of it.’”

The president’s legal team has claimed to be in possession of hundreds of affidavits from people alleging to have witnessed voter fraud and impropriety.

“We just got another piece tonight in another part of the country from a Democrat woman who’s just absolutely sick and tired of what she saw and finally said, ‘I got to go forward, and I got to report this. I can’t live with myself,’” Flynn continued.

“That is what’s happening with people who are feeling in their heart that sense of patriotism to still say, look, I don’t want my country to turn into something else because that’s what these people want — they do not want our country to be the republic that it is. They want it to be something else and change it”

Recent polling from Rasmussen Reports has shown that even 20 to 30 percent of Democrats suspect the election was stolen from Trump.

Enough momentum against the alleged fraud and impropriety is building that Flynn’s 100 percent confident that Trump — not Biden — will be inaugurated on Jan. 20th.

“There already is an undercurrent of momentum shifting for the president, and I believe that at the end of the day, we’re going to find out that he won by a massive landslide and he’ll be inaugurated come this January,” he said.

It’s certainly possible, though how exactly the president would achieve reelection remains unclear. Several routes exist:

He could take all his legal challenges to the conservative-leaning Supreme Court and hope that they rule in his favor.

He could run the clock and hold up the certification of the 2020 election results, thus preventing the Electoral College from choosing Biden.

Or he could provide enough evidence to convince state legislators to dispute the election results and choose their own electors:

Whichever path the president takes, Flynn is confident he’ll be triumphant.
